Maintenance and sterilization

The drill bit can be disinfected in any ultrasonic device and solution for disinfecting metal instruments, but the chemical composition of the disinfectants can shorten or extend the life of the drill bit.

Enzymatic disinfectants are recommended, as they are the gentlest with the instruments.The drill bit can also be washed manually with a metal brush intended for diamond bits.

Sterilization can be done in the pupinel (with appropriate drying beforehand) or in the autoclave.
